Carol Porter is a hard driving realtor in North Beach, Maryland, where realty and money are on everyone’s minds. Some shady property deals have led to two women being strangled to death with pantyhose years earlier; now another realtor is dead, and the killer is still at large.
As one of the “Dastardly Realtors” connected to a particularly questionable real estate venture, Carol discovers that she is very likely on the vengeful murderer’s list. Detective Lucas Jaxon, in an attempt to reclaim public reputation, investigates the town’s curious characters to narrow down the potential suspects. His plan leads to using Carol as bait, but she would rather try to figure out the case herself.
The mystery is pretty suspenseful throughout, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing.
About the Author
Carol Brewington is a student of the human condition, using the craft of writing to enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush. She has been interested in writing for almost 30 years, publishing many short stories and local newspaper articles. She feels that pages are a blank canvas on which to write with a talent praised by many and matched by an imagination that rises to the tasks. The Dastardly Realtor Murders is her second pursuit. Retirement is allowing her to pursue her dreams.
