Luckily for us, Dee was kind enough to answer a few questions as the tour was getting started so that we can give you a sneak peek into the mind of the creator of The Bad Angel: Redemption.

OP: Tell us a little bit about The Bad Angel: Redemption. What is it about?

Dee: The book is about an angel, Artherial, who is charged with guarding purgatory as a punishment for centuries of mistakes. He is given a mission from the archangel Gabriel that would relieve him of those duties if he completes it. The archangel Michael is missing and BA has to find him and the makers of the drug TAAB, which uses Michael’s blood in the formula. The drug is being sold by a being known only as the Peddler. However, other supernaturals are drawn into the story, some of which are from BA’s past. BA enlists the help of Jericho Caine, the vampire slayer, Father Tom Padilla, the demon hunter, and Alexander Merryweather, the Grand Librarian and wizard. Together, they use their skills to do battle with the Underworld and the Peddler in an epic showdown.

OP: Why did you decide to write this story?

Dee: I wrote this novella because it is part of the Hangman Universe (HMU) and is the last part of Stage II. Stage III picks up where The Bad Angel leaves off with The Hangman Returns.

OP: How did you get your book published?

Dee: I self-published my books through Outskirts Press.

OP: What types of readers would be interested in this story?

Dee: The types of readers that will be interested in this book are readers of fiction, fantasy, and supernatural thrillers.

OP: What is special about your book?

Dee: What’s special about this book is that it challenges the reader to go beyond what they already believe about angels, vampires and demons.

OP: Have you published any other books?

Dee: Yes. The HMU as I’ve stated, so far, is in three stages. Stage I: The Hangman. Stage II: The Grand Librarian: Life of an Immortal, Father Tom Padilla: Curse of the Demon Priest, Jericho Caine Vampire Slayer: Dakota Rises, The Bad Angel: Redemption. I have published two other books unrelated to the HMU. They are: Forbidden Love and Cloning Around.

OP: Do you plan to publish more?

Dee: Yes, I plan to publish more. Stage III of the HMU starts out with The Hangman Returns. I am also working on a space opera entitled, Travel Through the Stars.

OP: Thanks for your time, Dee! We look forward to learning more about you as you visit other bloggers!
