L.I. ter Meulen is self-publishing a book with Outskirts Press. And she wants your help deciding her book cover.
Book Summary
Meet Alejandro—aka Alex the lover, aka “A” the gigolo—the rough-edged scoundrel who sanded and polished himself into the smooth, hard object of everyone’s fascination. For Emily he has been a subject of serious inquiry from birth. When her mother Jante returned to New York from France nurturing the secret seed in her tummy, she didn’t know that two decades later, Em and A would discover each other—boastful, sad, and wayward mirrors of each other’s capricious charms and their own intimate, intentional rebellions. Daughter and father. Found and lost. As Alejandro lies dying of the gay plague in a Paris hospital, Emily tries on and inherits his cape of seduction and trade. Smooth Hard follows their separate, converging paths of curiosity and deception across a generation, through the light of self-discovery, and into the dark shadows of the Life.
