The Algebra Book is for students in grades 7 and 8 to facilitate their understanding of algebra. The book is divided in two parts. The first part contains 18 math lessons and practice work, plus answers. The second part has the same lessons and practice worksheets in Spanish.
Doris Rivezzo Kitchell
Doris Rivezzo Kitchell earned a master’s degree in Education/Math from St. John’s University in Queens, NYC, and is currently a retired high school math teacher. She wrote this algebra book in English and Spanish to help math teachers motivate students whose native language is Spanish. She was also inspired by her children, Alfonso and Michael.
