Your Book Publishing & Marketing Newsletter
Happy New Year! Is your New Year’s Resolution to get published in 2011 and support a good cause all at the same time? Then you may be interested in getting published in our Facebook Anthology.

Outskirts Press is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in social network publishing. Become a fan on our Facebook page by clicking here and then clicking on the “Like” button.

All our Facebook Fans will have the opportunity to get published for free in our first Facebook Anthology, to be published in the first quarter of 2011.

The royalties will go to a charity of our Facebook Fans’ choosing.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Become an Outskirts Press Facebook Fan
  2. Jan 1 – Jan 9: Post your submission on your wall and share it so it posts on our wall.*
  3. Read other submissions and “Like” the ones you are fond of.
  4. Jan 10: Vote among title suggestions to determine the title of the book.
  5. Jan 12: Vote from among charities to determine which charity receives the book’s royalties.
  6. Jan 14: Vote from among cover choices to determine the cover of the anthology.

Follow us on Twitter for reminders throughout the process.

Will your work be featured in our first Facebook Anthology? There’s only one way to find out. Submit your work to your Facebook wall and ours before January 10 for publication in our first Facebook Anthology. Your submission must appear on our wall to be considered. Then, get your friends to “like” your submission. Submissions with the highest votes will help us determine which submissions to accept.

*Important: Each wall posting has a character limit of 1,000, so up to 10 sequential wall postings will be accepted for a maximum character limit of 10,000 per Facebook friend.  This anthology is perfect for short-short stories, poems, jokes, anecdotes, recipes, writing samples, or other short pieces. Of course, you keep all the rights to your submission, but you are granting Outskirts Press a non-exclusive right to publish your submission in the anthology. Read all the details of the Facebook Anthology on our blog at http://blog.outskirtspress.com, which will keep you updated throughout the month of January.
