author (5)About the Author:

Dell Isham is a former state senator and mayor in Oregon and is also a former director of the South Carolina Chapter of the Sierra Club. Isham holds history degrees from Weber State (Utah) College and Colorado State University. He served in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He spent more than 30 years in politics, which helps bring realism to his historical and political works. He and his wife, Sue Tse, live in Oregon and Florida. He is the winner of the 2009 South Carolina Fiction Project.
