Last week on Thursday, September 19th, the 30th Annual CIPA EVVY Book Awards Ceremony & Banquet took place in Boulder, Colorado.
Every year, Outskirts Press officially nominates a small percentage of the books published during the year for submission to this prestigious book awards contest held by the Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA).
Outskirts Press received the most awards among all participating publishers and executives were in attendance to accept awards on behalf of authors unable to appear in person. Jim Loveless, author of Avoiding Muddy Foxholes, and Ana Montgomery, author of The Listener: DNA Designed to Kill, accepted their awards personally. It was an honor and treat to meet them in person! Congratulations to you both.
