As a published author, you have a seemingly endless list of book awards and contests to investigate. The way to determine which ones are worthwhile and which ones are a potential waste of time is to explore each one separately and research it on its own merits to determine if it is a good match for your published book. The Outskirts Press Marketing COACH has done this for a number of contests already and for those that we recommend, we bring to our Outskirts Press authors’ attention specifically via email, or on our newsletter, or via this blog.
However, there are many more book awards and contests that may very well be worth pursuing on your own. With that in mind, when those awards or contests come to our attention, we’ll mention them here on this blog, too. You can research them and either choose to enter them, or not, as you see fit.
