Young Logan’s Story is about twelve-year old Logan, author Guy Buckles’ grandson, who struggles with an unknown disease that slowly exhausts his strength and staying power. This personal narrative explains his attitude, daily and weekly medical endurances as he combats his disease and secondary health issues. He is perceived as different than his friends and fellow students; a child who writes a novel about an animal that is different but changes its species forever: and in so doing, the animal proves being different does not mean you cannot make a difference. Guy uses Mr. Tibbs and his cast of supporting characters to further illustrate that being different does not mean one cannot make a difference.
Guy Buckles is retired having spent time in the military, as an educator, Justice of the Peace (Texas) and a rancher. He has his post-graduate PhD.

i don’t like the cover a boy in a jacket( large or small) …. its no good. make it funny like a cartoon character – did i spell that word right? who knew? i really don’t like the cover no one will buy the book with this cover …. it doesn’t catch the eye… think, think like your inner heart thinks… get real.

“Different does not mean making a difference”…………..The title doesn’t sound right.
Should it be “Different does not mean you CAN’T make a difference”…….I don’t know but thats my opinion about how it sounds and having read the back of the book, that sounds like what the book is about – making a difference not NOT making a difference…….if you know what I mean.
