Social media is a trend that’s been around for a while – as a matter of fact, if you use social media at all, you probably only vaguely remember the time when there was no such thing. It all started with the basic concept of online chatting. From chatrooms evolved several “hub” websites where people could connect to others who share similar interests (or not).

There are many general ones to choose from – including: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIN, etc. All of these sites can appeal to all.
