CHOOSING THE FORMAT AND BOOK SIZE

Depending upon your package choice, you can either get a paperback book only, a paperback and hardback book, or a hardback only.

SELECTING YOUR COVER

Since the cover is so important, Outskirts Press 3.0 makes choosing the proper cover choice easier than ever. In addition to our popular, affordable, and highly-recommend Professionally Designed Custom Cover, Version 3.0 introduces the Professionally Illustrated Artistic Cover, when you require one of our artists to draw an original cover illustration from scratch before our professional design team creates a custom cover using that original illustration. Of course, we also offer a wide selection of free cover styles with or without images, and those selections are available in their own “aisles” of our store by clicking on the Category Headings.

SELECTING YOUR INTERIOR

One of the things that separates Outskirts Press from other self-publishing companies is our included standard interior formatting service, which comes free with every package. Only with Outskirts Press can you avoid publishing a book that screams “self-published” by having a professional book designer format your book for you from your original Word manuscript according to industry best practices for your genre.

However, sometimes “industry best practices” is not custom enough for our authors and for that reason, Outskirts Press 3.0 introduces the oft-requested “Custom Interior Formatting” option, which allows the author to custom design each and every element and/or page with the designer’s help. As with all new elements of Version 3.0, the associated cost of each option is clearly marked, along with the package availability of each option and/or service.

CUSTOMIZING YOUR PRODUCTION OPTIONS

Outskirts Press isn’t called the Gem of Custom Publishing for nothing. We offer the most customization and flexibility in the self-publishing industry. But they’re called options for a reason.
