The United States of America is home to the annual Book Expo of America event. The venue rotates throughout the states, although New York is the most consistent host of this annual event which traditionally takes place the last weekend of May.Every year the BEA welcomes over 100,000 international attendees, authors, publishers, agents, and buyers. While the  attendance is international, the focus is distinctly American, with American books, publishers, and authors receiving the main interest.
